Coming to a tournament near you, “Stick Medic”.
After attending numerous youth and high school lacrosse tournaments as coaches, parents, and vendors the need was clear. Players equipment fails, many times at the most inopportune time. Most times failed equipment can be easily and quickly fixed however you have to have supplies. Heads and shafts fail and are critical however usually catastrophic. What many players don’t realize is how critical a sidewall string or a screw can be. When playing in adverse weather conditions mesh, shooters, and sidewall strings break down.
Many of the players we’ve met with have been playing all season with a single stick and are afraid to have it restrung during the season. The season comes to an end and it’s tournament time, again, the player doesn’t want to effect his passing and shooting by restringing the stick. In many cases the player has traveled a significant distance to play and as luck would have it during seeding play his weapon fails.
Since Tactical Lacrosse is already attending many of the tournaments it only made sense to bring along Stick Medic to help players who need some help.
Stop to cool off or to just say hi.
